Garena FPS Cup Season 2

OK Ladies,
We missed an opportunity last time and didn't enter the Garena Cup (for COD4)
But it's back
We're gonna need a team of 5 so first of all post if you're interested, and then if you're on the server try and recruit people... cos we aint got 5 players in the clan :p

Richie if you read this please post to tell us if ur in or out (as ATM i don't know if you're even alive any more rofl)

The tournament will start on 27th of Aug so we aint got long to get extra man power.
This date is after mike gets back so we can assume that he'll be in and ready to lock & load (although he'll probs need some training... i've been gone a week and again have lost my ability to play cod lol)

After talking woth Cocaine (the moderator for any who don't know), i've cleared up all the issues we had

We can play whatever guys we want, the 5 we specify on garena are simply the ones who'll get the EXP.

We will not be hosting the server, servers will be hosted by 'someone', cocaine said it wasn't sorted out yet and would be announced later. There will be referee(s). It sounded like they were having trouble with this one... I made an offer to cocaine for us to host, didn't tell him the exact reason (obviosuly he doen't need to know we'll be running 2 guys outside the EU :p), but I'm hoping I was right when I sensed trouble and we'll end up being one of the servers

When I asked about direct connecting he told me it would be announced later (more reason for me to suspect the don't have a fucking clue about the servers).

Servers will be hosted inside the EU.

We don't have to register a clan with Garena to enter the Tournament.

When I decided to check if it was gonna be hardcore he told me something that I had to double take at...
It is likely the tournament will take place under Promod. For those of you that do not know about/play Promod, it's an excellent mod, but nobody in the clan has a high level character (if one at all). There is a thread in the Garena forum where they are currently deciding whether it will be Promod or just HardCore.

You need a reading access level of 100 to view, so I can't see it, but if anyone can (Z!pco maybe?) can you please copy and paste the thread into our forums so we can look at it

And if it is Promod, it should still be run in HardCore mode
Not the should, that too is still being decided.

OK, so things seem to be a little all over the place as far as rules & regulations go. All we know is that on 27th they'll have to have decided & announced precisely what's going on...

After showering & eating I think ill go through a few bits n peices and slap a Promod server up (or perhaps walk mike through making Server1 Promod).
