OK, little annoying
Checked my mail and found like 100 emails from this forum :p

To stop the system mailing you every time a reply is posted to a thread you're posted in:

Go Profile
Preferences
Always Notify Me Of Replies
Select No
Scroll down & hit Save

Now, rather than getting the opportunity to opt-out of being mailed every time you post, you have to check a box for the system to notify you by email (so the option is still there if there's an important thread and you wish to be notified of any replies)
